About
Attorney
Attorney Stephanie Carrion is a first-generation Dominican lawyer who was born and raised in the D.C. metropolitan area. She is an accomplished associate at Farmer & Klopfer and is licensed to practice in Maryland and Washington, D.C. She is well-known for her zealous advocacy, up-to-date legal knowledge, and technological expertise. Stephanie was selected as a 2026 Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Attorney Carrion graduated magna cum laude from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, earning a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. During her time at ODU, she was actively involved in several organizations, including Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the Pre-Law Association, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to academic excellence.
She then moved to Baltimore City to attend the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she gained significant hands-on experience in both the private and public legal sectors. Attorney Carrion worked at various private criminal defense law firms, the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, and the Maryland Law Criminal Defense Clinic—one of the nation's top ten clinical law programs. Throughout her academic career, she actively participated in legal associations such as the Maryland Association for Justice, the Criminal Law Association, and the Latino Law Student Association.
Fluent in Spanish, Attorney Carrion effectively serves a diverse clientele. Based primarily at our Prince George’s County office, she handles a wide range of criminal defense cases, including DUIs, traffic violations, misdemeanors, and felonies. She also has a proven record of securing high-value settlements and verdicts in personal injury cases related to car accidents, slip-and-falls, dog bites, and more.
In a confidential settlement, Attorney Carrion became one of the youngest attorneys in Maryland to be inducted into the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum. This distinguished group of trial lawyers is limited to those who have achieved million—and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. With over 5,000 members nationwide, fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers hold this distinction.
Attorney Carrion is committed to fiercely advocating for her clients, ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve, making her an invaluable asset to our team at Farmer & Klopfer. Her dedication, experience, and proven results make her a formidable force in the courtroom and a trusted legal ally for those she represents all over Maryland and Washington D.C.
