Verdicts Rendered by Jonathan E. Martin, Esq.

"Firm Teaches Prince George's County a Lesson"

For over eight (8) years, Mr. Thomas H. had been wrongfully denied over $70,000.00 in back wages by P.G. County.  His prior attorney had passed away, his file had disappeared, and the Attorneys for the County had moved on.

Attorneys James F. Farmer, Jonathan E. Martin and the law firm of James F. Farmer, P.A. had to reconstruct Mr. Thomas H's file, track down and contact the head Attorney for the County, and file a Writ of Mandamus to compel the payment of Mr. Thomas H's wrongfully denied wages.

A Writ of Mandamus is an unusual legal course of action, however it was the only feasible way to hold the County accountable for the long overdue claim.

Attorneys James F. Farmer, Jonathan E. Martin and the Law Firm of James F. Farmer, P.A. fought the County on Mr. Thomas H's behalf and were awarded not only the $70,000.00 but an additional $43,000.00 in interest.
